New York Times best-selling author Andrew Clements taught in the public schools near Chicago for seven years before moving east to begin a career in publishing and writing. He has written many popular middle-grade novels, including Frindle, winner of 16 state book awards and the Christopher Award; The Report Card; The School Story; The Landry News; and The Janitor’s Boy. His new books include the 10th anniversary edition of Frindle, Room One: A Mystery or Two, and A Million Dots -- all from Simon & Schuster (2006). He lives in Massachusetts.
