Caldecott-Honor winning illustrator Betsy Lewin wanted to be an artist ever since she was a little girl. She attributes her passion for children’s books to her mother, a kindergarten teacher, who read to her and her brother every night. Ms. Lewin is the illustrator of the award-winning Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type (Simon & Schuster, 2000) and its New York Times best-selling sequels Giggle, Giggle, Quack; Duck for President; and the most recent book, Dooby Dooby Moo (Simon & Schuster, 2006) -- all written by Doreen Cronin. Ms. Lewin lives in Brooklyn, New York.
